I went to work this morning and talked to IBM on the phone trying to find some information about these bad boys. I did not get a call back.

Then I talked to sony on why my laptop case isn't here. I apparently never ordered one, which may explain why i got 2 dvd drives.

Started using the gtk xemcs foo. It rules.

Listened to ESCM with joe. I brought my headphone splitter thingie from home so we could both listen to it.

Cafe Pamplona action with nat and joe. Wendy ripped me to shreds which kinda deflated my day. I did have some tart thingies, but not a raspberry one, which would have been ideal.

Nat had to pee so we went to move joe's stuff down the street.

So I could tell a story about a tomato but i am pretty much sick of that story already, and it just happened like a couple of hours ago.

I am now pretty tired and feeling kinda weird. I haven't eaten a meal since lunch yesterday, and all I've consumed today was some coke, an allergy pill, some hot chocolate, and some tarts.

Apperently i am nat's project for the weekend. I wonder what this is going to end up with the what not happening stuff.

Got out of bed around noonish. It rained during the night, and cooled off. Which is nice for sleeping and allergies.

Went to the Harvard Square Tweeter and exchanged my headphones for a pair with a working "right" speaker.

Then headed to the cave, and ended up grabbing breakfast at Algiers, where Joe later joined us.

We then went to find some weights and what not for Nat. We ended up going to the far away City Sports, cause they had more 10 1/2 shoes. SO anyway joe and i got shoes and nat and joe got some weights.

On the way back we got some not-so-good chinese food.

Dropped nat's stuff off at the cave, mine at the office, and joe's at joe's, then back to algiers.

Stopped at HMV, where i got the european MiSL BT cd. The first third of it rocks. I have to listen to the rest.

Some national geographic action at the cave.

So everyone seems to be reading books. It makes me feel non-smart.

Dude: yeah, it's continuous.

Woke up around noon, again. Went to the office and then on one of the usual weekend walks through boston. Played my new BT cd.

The new Wendy's is still not open yet. I was hoping. I mean that it was. Like when I walked past. Cause I was hungry. And I kinda wanted to umm, take my allergy medication. Cause of like, my allergies. Yeah.

Long adventure with nat. And I didn't take my cd. Sigh.

So yeah, the moving in weeked stuff is still going on. It was especially severe at the super market. Like, really. Severe.

I am severely hungry. I probably could have passed out at the super market yo.

Got the new BT single of 5 (five!) "Never Gonna Come Back Down" remixes. Five dude. Five.

Sigh, this page seems to crash mozilla a lot.

Walked around boston for a lot today. My foot hurts.

September 7, 2000

Woke up at 7 something having some allergy issues. Promplty took an allergy pill and fell back asleep.

Alarm clock went off at 9, and then I fell back asleep for another hour (most likely due to the allergy pill).

Did a Gtk-Perl update I'd been meaning to do, then undertook the task of reading all the backlogged email I'd gotten in the past week or so. This really isn't fun because I don't tend to get much interesting mail. Oh, and the interesting mail I do get I tend to read and not let fester for some time.

Distro meeting.

That email stuff put me in a bad mood.

Ate at algiers with miggie. I like their french toast.

Went to look at TVs at the Harvard Sq. Tweeter. Ran into joe, vlad, and ian who were looking at speakers.

So, after 8 months or so of being in boston, I bought a TV. I didn't get a dvd player since I wanted to sleep on the decision of which to get.

Since my laptop IrDA doesn't seem to do SIR mode, I don't think I will be able to talk to the iPAQ. That sucks, but my CF sleeve will hopefully arrive next week.

Got jgreg started building RPMs for the RH beta

Installed SuSE 7.0 on one of the machines

Went to the Cave with joe, to see Friends. It was the one with the flirting.

After friends, wedecided to cook dinner, which ended up being salsa, french bread pizza, and some corn. It was tasty.

Read gruntle for a few hours, until the next friends came on. During this episode miggie and crew showed up after eating at the tapas place.

After friends we went home.

Woke up with the roof of my mouth all sore. Stupid pizza.

I am like the only one in the office. On a saturday.

Went to the gardens. There was some winged ants or termite thingies having some big party today. I mean, I like insects as much as the next guy, but it got pretty annoying.

Wendy's isn't open yet.

Dinner with vlad and joe at some turkish place or something. It was pretty tasty. Even my log.

I am sleepy.

September 10, 2000

My activty log is more up-to-date than phil's.

Got a dvd player in preparation for tomorrow.

The Ice Cream Man came by my apartment. Joe bought me some Ice Cream. That Ruled.

Today vlad said to me, "Is that sarcasm?" Today was a success.

Watched "Man on the Moon" at the Rag. I love that movie. Also caught some Friends.

September 11, 2000

I totally hope someone asks me, "What was the most disgusting thing you saw today?"

I am now a member of the future, as I got my laptop running XFree 4. Oh, alsa works on it too.

My tv arrived. Watched "Run Lola Run" with Federico.

Released new gaim and gnapster updates; built gtkmm but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Built packages to work with SuSE 7. Just have to fix the installer / updater to work with it then that gets uploaded tomorrow.

Aphex Twin is really good to build packages to.

Hungry, but lazy. What to do what to do.

September 16, 2000

Wow. What a week. I doubt that i've lived a more epistemic week previously in my life. Documenting it here would be good for me to read later. But, alas, I lack the literary prowess to put some good stuff here. Anyway, ones imagination is probably more exciting still.

Saw "Almost Famous" last night. I am going to see it again this week.

I am really tired. This page crashes my mozilla a lot. Like a lot.

September 25, 2000

My laptop died last week. I have a thousand or so emails to read.

September 29, 2000

My laptop is back and now works. Too bad the Internet is gone.

Movie Night: "Girlfight". People didn't seem to like it.

Nat's sister Peach and her boyfriend Oliver are in town for the weekend. Went to the Cellar and Charlie's with them. It was pretty fun.

Nat seems to like the MiSL import a lot. Which he should, considering the huge awesomeness level it reaches.

I walked home.

September 30, 2000

Woke up in the early afternoon and walked around the city and the park and what not.

Met up with people at the Cave. Went to Algiers where I had some tasty french toast and some really good hot chocolate. Sadly, the hot chocolate varies in quality quite a bit.

Drove around boston looking at Dunkin' Donuts establishments. I don't understand why there are so many of them. Especially considering how few Wendy's there are.

Went to some food place whose vibe I didn't jive with.

Peach had an early flight the next day so she went to sleep. Nat and I went to a bar accross the street from the Audobon. It was nice and stuff. Well, not nice but fun.
